Practical skills

A crisis is before us, and the Word of God and Spirit of Prophecy are clear that in the coming time of trouble, what will keep us going are the practical, manual, handy skills that we shall have. Unable to be employed due to the effects of the mark of the beast, unable to work in conventional lines, we shall find a means of earning an income by applying skills that shall be in short supply yet highly in demand. The purpose of teaching practical skills will be to equip us for that time. Examples of skills that we train in are soap making, candle making, knitting, crocheting, making of body butters and many more.
Regular Workshops
There are 2 types of workshops:

Observation Workshops
These have a tutor/instructor who teaches the class on the subject of interest. Participants observe, take notes and ask questions. These are basic or foundational classes.

Participatory Workshops
These are classes where the participants actively take part in the class. Each individual participant has their own work station set up and the participants actually make and do whatever is the subject of interest. These are more advanced than the observation workshops and the participants acquire a more in depth understanding of the subject of choice. The class size is kept small for a more personal contact with the instructor, and a clearer understanding of the subject.

We aim to have two observations and one participatory workshop every quarter. Click here to see past workshops and here to see upcoming ones.
